Area 9 In-Home and Community Services Agency cautions all users of the Home Helper List.

We make no guarantees as to the following:

• Accuracy of applications – should be verified by the user

• References are not checked nor verified by Area 9 In-Home and Community Services Agency – they should be verified by the user

• Competency, abilities, integrity, and skills of the applicant are not checked nor verified by Area 9 In-Home and Community Services Agency

Neither Area 9 In-Home and Community Services Agency nor any of its staff

endorse nor recommend any applicant listed in the Home Help List.

It is provided only as a non-endorsed community resource.

We recognize that having someone come into a home and care for a dependent person is a matter that should be taken very seriously. Because of this, we have had criminal background checks for Wayne County done on each person listed. The person contracting with the applicant MUST check references and their background prior to entering into an agreement with the applicant.
