The study of business helps you develop an understanding of the principles and practices involved in the management of business firms in today's dynamic economic, social, and political environment.  Business students also examine the trends likely to shape tomorrow's global economy. 

At Indiana University East you can earn a bachelor's degree in business with a concentration in accounting, economics, finance, general business, management, MIS or marketing.  You can earn an associate degre in business or in computer science. 

Online Degree Completion Programs

The IU East Business Division offers two online degree completion programs. The first is a concentration in Finance (B.S. in Business Administration with a Concentration in Finance), and the second is a concentration in General Business (B.S. in Business Administration with a Concentration in General Business). These completely online programs are being offered via Choices@East, a distance education program at IU East.

Lawrenceburg B.S. in Business Administration Completion Prog.

IU East recently initiated a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration Completion Program in cooperation with Ivy Tech Community College Lawrenceburg. This program allows students to transfer an associate degree in business and complete the remaining credits for a bachelor's degree at Indiana University East within one year. The program is located in Lawrenceburg, Ind. on the Ohio River near Cincinnati, Ohio.

Student Organizations

There are several special opportunities for students, including the entrepreneurship program, SIFE (Students in Free Enterprise), and Delta Mu Delta (a national business honorary organization). 

ACBSPAccreditation

The Division of Business & Economics at Indiana University East is accredited by the Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs(ACBSP). 

The ACBSP is a recognized leader in mission-based accreditation for business schools and programs which provide excellence in teaching/learning strategies in technologically superior environments that support the education of business professionals.
