How To Register

Entrepreneurship: Developing Your Business Plan

The Office of Continuing Education in cooperation with the Indiana University East Center for Entrepreneurship Center is offering a three day workshop to assist you in the process of developing your business plan. The workshop is designed to help participants learn the importance of a business plan, the key elements of a basic plan, and data that must be included. Participants will also get tips on writing style to make the business plan easier to understand and professional in appearance.

Winchester: 3 Tuesdays, February 26-March 11 from 3:00-7:00 p.m.
Fee: this is no charge for the first 15 registrations. Registration is required. Five additional participants will be accepted at $100 each.

11th Annual Management Leadership Conference

The Eastern Indiana Human Resource Association will present the 11th Annual Management Leadership Conference at Indiana University East on Friday, May 16, 2008. This conference is designed for human resource professionals and support staff, business development professionals, managers and supervisors and business owners.

Fund Raising for Non Profits

This class will assist you in developing the steps required for a successful fund drive. Learn the professional manner in raising funds from whom to contact, the proper approach in contacting the potential giver, how to answer questions and, most importantly, how to convince the person to participate in the fund drive.

Writing Winning Grant Proposals

Successful proposed writers start with the identified need and then seek the source of funding that best fits that need. Learn how to clearly define the organizational needsand objectives and then identify and evaluate potential sources. You'll also learn what to do after you identify a potential funder.

Dreaming Big/Starting Small - The Road to Self-Employment

Do you dream of being your own boss? This workshop is designed to guide you through the process of exploring options, abilities, potential, and the realities of being self-employed.

Professional Development Series

The Office of Continuing Education hosts a variety of seminars focusing on professional development topics. Iindividuals interested in enhancing their professional development are welcome to attend. Bring a lunch and interact with other professionals as you explore the selected topics. All workshops will be held on the Indiana University East campus.

Approved Real Estate Salesperson Course (Sales Pre-Licensing Course)

Regardless of background, education, or age, this course can help you qualify for a state real estate license and a real estate career. It can also help you become a more knowledgeable property owner, buyer, or seller. Topics include real estate law, finance, math, license laws, appraisals, and contracts.
