BEGINNING TEACHER MENTOR PROGRAM

Programs and Services

The top priority of the Indiana University East Beginning Teacher Mentor Program is to facilitate the success of all first and second year teachers in our service area. Services are voluntary, upon your request, and completely confidential. You do not need to be an IUE graduate to take part in the IUE Beginning Teacher Mentor Program.  To that end, we offer you the following service at NO COST to you:

  • One on one consultation
  • Curriculum and planning resources
  • Professional development resources
  • Assessment resources
  • Content area consultation
  • Career counseling
  • Portfolio consultations
  • Indiana University East Curriculum Resource Center
  • Online Beginning Teacher Chat/Resource Room
  • Other services according to individual requests and need
Additionally, graduate level courses are available to assist your professional development plan and certification needs.
