Scholarships

Several scholarships are available to students accepted into the Honors Program:

Lingle Scholars

Paul and Pat Lingle established the Lingle Scholars in October 2005 in order to keep the best and brightest youth in Wayne County, Indiana. The scholarship is awarded to incoming freshmen who have been accepted to the IU East Honors Program. Applicants must undergo an interview process with the Honors Program committee as well as with the Lingles. Each year, up to two students will be chosen for the scholarship. Recipients will receive a $2,000 annual scholarship over four years. Their names will be added to the Lingle Scholars plaque that hangs in the IU East campus.

Indiana University East Honors Program Scholarship

Awarded to students accepted into the Honors Program.  Scholarship is renewable for those that continue in the program.

Helen Lee's Honors Program Scholarship

Awarded to returning Honors Program students.
