Indiana University East offers two courses within the field of astronomy, one in Solar System Astronomy (AST A100) and one in Stellar Astronomy (AST A105).

The astronomy classroom in Whitewater Hall

Solar System Astronomy (AST A100) is currently offered Fall Semesters only in the evenings and Stellar Astronomy (AST A105) is currently offered Spring semesters only also in the evenings.

Courses in astronomy may be applied as electives toward associate (2 year) or baccalaureate (4 year) degrees in the Natural Science and Mathematics Division.
