Statistics

The Mathematics Department at Indiana University East offers two courses in the field of statistics: Statistical Techniques (MATH K300) and Elements of Statistical Inference (MATH M366).

Statistical Techniques (MATH K300) is offered Fall and Spring semesters, and frequently as a "short course" during the Summer II half-semester.  Elements of Statistical Inference (MATH M366) will be offered beginning Spring semester of 2008 and every four years thereafter.

Math K300 is also now available as an online course. Check our online courses page, Online Courses, for availability.

Statistics may be used to satisfy requirements for several degrees at Indiana University East and is a good course for all science and mathematics majors to consider as an elective, if not required for you major. Check with your advisor to see if statistics is necessary or recommended for your program.
