Student Learning Outcomes Assessment
The commitment to the improvement in student learning is the highest priority of the faculty, staff and administrators of Indiana University East. Beginning in 1995, the faculty of Indiana University East instituted a program to assess student learning across all academic disciplines. Since that time, our efforts have expanded into broad institutional participation with the initiation of assessment programs in general education and in the co-curricular areas of campus. While the outcomes for learning remain focused on student achievement of the seven Campus Learning Objectives, additional goals of programs and campus services have been included in the assessment process.
