East Central Indiana First Steps
Serving Adams, Allen, Blackford, Delaware, Fayette, Hancock, Henry, Huntington, Jay, Madison, Randolph, Rush, Shelby, Union,Wayne & Wells Counties
East Central Indiana First Steps is dedicated to providing high quality early intervention services to children and families in our cluster. We believe that children should have the opportunity to succeed and we work very hard to ensure that our services reach as many families throughout the cluster as possible.
First Steps is Indiana’s early intervention system. This program was designed to identify children birth through three with a developmental delay or disability. Our program is designed to meet the needs of families and we achieve that goal by taking a team approach to the planning and implementation of services. We strive to identify children who meet our criteria and provide services to them as early as possible in order to give them the best opportunity of overcoming any delay they may be experiencing.
