Community Action of East Central Indiana (CAECI) is a private not-for-profit organization established under the Economic Opportunity Act of 1964 to fight America's War on Poverty in East Central Indiana. It is one of 1,000 Community Action Agencies spread throughout the United States. Currently CAECI provides assistance to over 3,000 households throughout Fayette, Union, and Wayne Counties. CAECI can help with: Utility Bills - Energy Assistance Program; Housing Issues - Section 8, Owner Occupied Rehab, or Weatherization; Pre-school - Head Start
