GDFB improves the quality of life for people who are blind, visually impaired, or with other special needs. Services Provided: • Comprehensive training with a guide dog or service dog with an instructor on campus. • Transportation is paid for (if needed) to and from the Smithtown, New York campus for students traveling within the United States, Canada, and Mexico. • Free aftercare services Resources Available: • The Guideway newsletter • Stories of Second Sight • Digital Guide e-mail newsletter • Various brochures
