Provides many services to residents. Nursing services can include immunizations, baby and children well-clinics, blood pressure and blood sugar screening (may be available to set up insulin and other medications), pregnancy testing, TB testing, flu shots, consultations, home visits, or information and referral services. The Health Department also maintains birth and death records, birth amendments, and can assist in genealogy searches. Health Education services and classes are also given. The Health Department also provides sanitation services, including septic inspections, septic permits, and food establishment inspection. Immunizations by appointment.
