“Being able to compete at the college level and stay close to home were very important to me,” Taulbee said. “IU East’s athletic programs are on the rise. It will be a great opportunity to be part of the first tennis team here and to try to bring home a KIAC championship.”

Taulbee participated with sectional championship teams in soccer, tennis and swimming. He plans to major in political science.

“I am looking forward to developing him into a strong collegiate contender,” Head Coach Mike Sherer said. “It will be exciting to see what Josh can bring to the program. With his enthusiasm, conditioning and overall physical potential he will be an athlete to watch for in the near future.”
