Indiana University East is proud to welcome all Indiana University School of Continuing Studies (SCS) students! Beginning July 1, 2012, IU East assumes administrative responsibility for the general studies program that had been previously offered through the Indiana University School of Continuing Studies in Bloomington.
If you are currently enrolled in an SCS independent study course, if you have ever enrolled in an SCS independent study course, if you have been admitted to the SCS, or if you are simply weighing your educational options, we would like to explain why IU East offers your best opportunity to either finish your degree online in our Bachelor of General Studies (BGS) program or take classes online that will transfer to your chosen degree program at your home institution.
