It's on my to-do list!

10/04/2009

My how fast the weekend goes! I was hoping to get caught up with I semi-sort of accomplished. I have two exams to study for the week and I question... are we even half-way into the semester? I am already overloaded with work. I know my work schedule is completely in the way of my mere two classes for the semester... but I just have to think positive because next semester I have to take four classes... it is a must and I am dreading it! I don't even know what to take. I know I want to take the ceramics 2 class but I have no idea if I will honestly have time, it all depends on what kind of schedule I can get with my Info classes! Its so hard to be at the end of your degree sheet... with about 8 classes left to take and I am trying to figure out which ones I can get into for electives and which ones are a must take. It's weird because I am supposed to be full time but you know I think I quit- the only reason I take full time is for insurance and I am done living my everyone elses rules. I want to live my mine for a change. So we are at the first week of October and I just want to crawl in a hole! Not to say that I am not happy or anything because I am happy I am just super tired of the same old thing anymore and not to mention super tired! I was late to work on Saturday because I was just so exhausted for the week. I am going to have to try better to get more sleep during the week.

So on my to-do list: it is my hope to create a couple videos for you all on these cute cards I made - I want to show you how you too can make them and save so much more by making your own cards for the holidays to send to your family and friends instead of buying them! Trust me, you do save a lot more when you hand make your items plus ++ your family and friends will just love how you made them yourself. So hopefully I can get those up sometime. I also would like to take a video tour of some discount shops at the discretion of the managers of course to show you how much you can save by buying discounted items at a much lower price than those big mean retailers out there... not to throw you off though! I still want you to shop wherever you feel most comfortable but I want you to save a lot more during the holidays when buying for your friends and family. You honestly don't have to spend much to give a spectacular gift. Hopefully I can possibly get that out to you guys because you know how fast these holidays are approaching!

On a second note- I mentioned in my last blog at the end about student IDs. I wonder what that was all about... well- NEW IDs! Hooray!! On October 21st or anytime after you can go and get your new student ID, and don't worry there will be no charge, even if you have the old ID or even possibly lost it.. oops! You can find the information about where you need to go in the Howler located across campus in the plastic clear newspaper holders. Pick one up for much more information about where to get your new ID (I would tell you but I lost my Howler, so I will have to pick up a new one on Tuesday). I can't seem to find any information on our website about them... OH NO!! So hopefully this helps anyway. The new student ID will be reloadable with cash to use currently only on campus at the Bear Creek Cafe, Book Store, and the new cafeteria once it has completed its beautification- soon IUE hopes to have the IDs usable at Meijer, McDonalds, and other retailers in our area. That is all!

Thank you for reading everyone! I try to keep this short for you all so you can get back to what you were doing before! Have a great week or not... the choice is YOURS!
