.Glad to be Back with the Pack

So I must say my first day back @ IUE went alot better than I thought it would :] Don't get me wrong, I didnt think the day would be horrible ... I just didnt expect it to go so smoothly. My first class of the day was speech (The class I feared the most) Upon arriving to class our professor told us we had about five minutes to find a partner, interview them and introduce them to the class! So I quickly found a partner and we chatted for awhile. I found out some interesting things about my partner. Her name is Akeyta and she decided to come to IUE to play volleyball. If you didnt already know...they're 7-0. So anyway, we decided to be the second group to present which was great because after you get it over with it feels good to just relax. After that I was feeling pretty good about myself. I realize that this speech class is going to help me alot more than I thought. Everyday we have to communicate which eachother whether it be at school, work etc ..why not learn how to do it better? So anyway... my Women & Society seems like its going be engaging. Everyday we sit in sort of a circle and we will be have more discussion rather than lectures. I love a good discussion opposed to a boring lecture. I think I gain more about the topics and the people I'm surrounded around. Ok on to the fun stuff... after classes I went to the Graf and there was tons of people in there. I think thats because Bear Creek offers a good selection of food. At this moment I'm eating some mozzarella cheese sticks and yes they are amazing. The other day I had a chili cheese dog and french fries which were also delicious and fulfilling. I'm really excited about the changes coming to IUE. Seems like everywhere I go on campus changes are being made. I can't wait to see how the patio area turns out and what changes will be made to our campus cafe :]
