CONFERENCE CHAMPS! *8-0*
So this past Saturday was a big day for IUE Volleyball. We played 2 big conference games vs. Berea College and IU Southeast. We beat Berea in 3 for the first win of the day. That match made us 7-0 in the conference. The next game was the championship for KIAC! It was a very focused game. We knew it was a make it or break it deal. We started out strong and ready to play. We won the first game. The second game would be the one to tell us if we had it or not. We beat them good!!! For the 2rd game, we led and kept it. We beat IU Southeast for the conference championship in 3 games. We were so excited! We set a record for the first time ever. We were the first athletic team to ever win conference undefeated at IU East. It feels great! :) We have our last season game Tuesday night at Ohio Northwestern, then it is off the conference tourney. :) Next goal for IU East volleyball is go to nationals! Here we go!
