IUE Volleyball is taking one game at a time towards a conference win!

Lastnight IU East volleyball team traveled to Marian University in Indianapolis. It was a close match. We went back and forth with them and we played hard. Marian has beat us twice previously this season (once in 5 close games and then in 3 at a tournament). We started out strong and stayed right with them. but as the game progressed, we just didn't push enough points at the end. IUE lost in 3 tough matches. We have had a rough week before with losing against Ohio Dominican at home, and also a loss from Mt. Saint Joseph. So another loss this week was rough on us mentally, but even though these losses were hard on us; we know we just need to keep preparing for the games in the long run. We are currently 4-0 in conference (that puts us in the lead). We will be traveling to Kentucky State University Friday night. We will be playing KSU, which is a strong team; they will push us to make us better. Then Saturday morning, we will be heading to Midway College for two conference matches. We will play Midway and Mountain State. These two games will show where we stand in the conference. We are not going to let down, and we are ready for a 6-0 record to help us push!
