Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow...

Hey everyone! :)
IU East is right now experincing the longest winter ever. We have gotten a lot of snow lately and it is not stopping yet. Campus has been closed for the past week; today was the first day we have been back to class. I have been out of class for over a week and don't get me wrong--I love it! But it has been a long week. Of course most students (and teachers) love snow days! We like to get a break from school and homework. But this has been the longest break ever...! My roommate and I have been sleeping in and enjoying the time off, but you can only that for so long until you get bored. We talked one night, saying how we missed classes and hoped to go back sometime soon. I couldn't believe what we were saying. We were doing homework as we were snowed in, and hoping the snow would stop soon. I just never imagined being in college and having so many days out. I talked to many of my friends who go to other colleges, and they could not get out one day. They were totally jealous! But then we figured out the differences between IU East to any other college. IU East is a commuting college. We do not have on-campus housing, so everyone has to drive from whereever they live to get to school. We have to think of safety first! :)
Finally, the snow has stopped for a little while; it is now raining, but the temperature is rising! We now are back in classes, catching up from what we have missed. I am over the cold weather...i want some sun! We are getting closer and closer to spring break--except our spring break, it is going to be snowing still! ugh! :P
