Lots to talk about

So our team is 33-3!! We lost our first game at the Muncie Tournament. We lost to Indiana Tech and Madonna University. Both teams were high level and nationally ranked in front of us! Our other loss is actually just from Asbury. It was a KIAC Conference game. It was a huge loss. That game was the determinant to see who got the Conference title. It was also for the number one seed going into the Conference Tournament here in a few weeks. I’m very sour about the Asbury loss. We took them to 5 games. They came out to play; we didn’t. It is as simple as that.
I’ll tell you what though, they won’t beat us again. When we see them in the Conference Tournament, THAT GAME WILL END THEIR SEASON. They will not move on to Nationals, but we will. I’m very very sour about that loss; however, I rather lose to them now then in the tournament. At least now we know what they are about. We have game tape, we have experience, and trust me we will be bringing it!!!
On another note, away from sports, academics are getting harder. I had mid-terms last week and they were tough. Lots of reading, writing, and studying. I’m glad it is over with. Now I just want Christmas to be here. I’m ready for a break! A nice, long, cold, snowy break.
Little Ali, isn’t so little anymore. Everyone remembers my little puppy Ali. WELL, he is still a pup, but gee wiz, he is growing fast. He weighs at least 50 pounds! He will be 5 months here soon! I can definitely wait for him to get big. He is already such a hassle! Not in a bad way, because I love him to death. But that puppy is one nosey puppy. He’s got his nose into EVERYTHING. He ate a whole bag of rolls, a whole loaf of bread, and he eats just about anything and everything we put in the trashcan….but I just can’t seem to stop loving him!!
