Welcome to my life! It’s interactive, fast paced, and super busy. I’m hoping yours is a little more relaxing… leave the chaos to me because I swear that’s my middle name. But in case it is a question on Jeopardy (because I will be famous one day), my middle name is Marie. I’m the middle child of 5 BEAUTIFUL, LOVING, and just DARLING girls. I was raised in Indianapolis, Indiana. A big, catholic, athletic family... that can cook!
I am the Co-Captain and setter of the volleyball team here at IU East. My partner in crime just so happens to be my best friend, Miss All American, All Conference, Volleyball Player of the Year, Breezy Strete. Volleyball is my passion. I kill myself all summer to get in shape and prepare my body to slave on the court until tournament time comes in November. And that’s when I get the “rush.” Where I make sure no one on the other side of that net is better than me….. Oh I love volleyball.
Besides volleyball, you must know that school is also very important to me as well. I am majoring in Communications. I love the mass media and how it plays such a big role in people’s daily lives.
Although I’m from Indy, I live a little closer to school. Due to volleyball and class, I have to stay close to campus. Which brings me to 2 of the most wonderful joys of my life: My roommate, Kait Ervin and little boxer puppy, Ali. Both are not only muy bonita, but keep me company while I’m away from the big city. I’m all smiles when they’re around.
