Anything that happens while you are sleeping is your fault.

Pure bowling swagger at work right there.

"Last weekend I went to a party at a fraternity house and then Brickstreet with my friends from Oxford. That was a lot of fun. The weekend before that I went cosmic bowling with Alyssa Tegeler and Danielle Nuss at Richmond's 40 Bowl. I have great bowling skillz. Oh, and I have been eating a lot of sandwiches lately. I don't know why though..."

Standing next to our East sign. :)

In recent news, Lauren Crump, Nick Frank, and myself returned from Indianapolis. We went to the Indiana Statehouse to represent Indiana University East for Hoosiers for Higher Education. It was so much fun. They provided breakfast and lunch for us (grilled chicken sandwiches for lunch mmm). It was cool because there were other Indiana University regional campuses there (IU Southeast, IU Northwest, etc). Lauren and I made our rounds to the booths to talk with students from other campuses. It is interesting because we often become stuck in our IU East bubble. It was nice to learn about what the other campuses are doing, how they are similar to us, and how they are different. Also, I was able to come back with some great ideas for the student organizations I am in.

Nick. Don't worry, I got his permission to put this up. ;)

The trip was full of entertainment. One form of entertainment was the old man that sat across from us at the event. He slept the entire time (and we watched like weirdos). Lauren and I made a goal to find cute and rich men to marry (I mean, it is the Statehouse, they are everywhere). The car ride home was hilarious. Rob Zinkan and John Dalton had us laughing the whole way. Not to mention, Nick Frank slept the whole way back. Of course, Lauren and I cannot let someone sleep in the car without taking pictures. We took a few snapshots of Nick (he should know better than to fall asleep). When I showed Nick the pictures, all he had to say was, "Sexy."

The visit was a success, though. The whole point of Hoosiers for Higher Education is to have the opportunity to speak with public officials about Indiana University and policies which will continue to keep us an awesome institution. We were able to speak with a few public officials, so it was definitely a good day. Although we walked away with this satisfaction, Lauren and I left the Statehouse without rich husbands. Hmph. Better luck next time, I suppose. ;)

Outside of that, school has been going really well for me. I am definitely enjoying my classes. This semester is a lot more chillaxed than last semester (mostly because Homecoming was last semester).

Me with one of my childhood friends, Danielle, in Oxford.

I have been doing a lot of fun things like going bowling and clubbing. Last weekend I went to a party at a fraternity house and then Brickstreet with my friends from Oxford. That was a lot of fun. The weekend before that I went cosmic bowling with Alyssa Tegeler and Danielle Nuss at Richmond's 40 Bowl. I have great bowling skillz. Oh, and I have been eating a lot of sandwiches lately. I don't know why though...

I turned in my passport paperwork yesterday. My passport photo is a joke (I look like a criminal). I should getting my book and everything in approximately four weeks. Not everything is set in stone yet, but at least I will have my passport in case. Worst case scenario, I do not go overseas but I go on a crazy spring/summer break trip. ;)

Until next time...
