Skates and Plungers.

"I'm pretty sure I looked ridiculous. The seven-year-olds were showing me up... Sigh. They text while skating! That can't be safe."

I was in the library the other day, and I thought to myself, "I feel like blogging. Wait, do I even have anything to write about?" Honestly, the answer is no. Nothing too exciting has happened in my life as of lately. However, I am going to do it anyway as it is therapeutic and I am very very very stressed haha!

So we have finally reached the last week of the fall semester. How crazy is that? It seems like just yesterday I was waiting for this week to come. Now I wish I had an extra week to finish my work. The professors definitely did not go light on the work load this semester. I am pulling my hair out. Not to mention, I missed an entire week of school plus a couple days or whatever due to illness (no worries I am not on my death bed or anything). I am slowly but surely managing to finish two weeks of work during our last week of school. Let me tell you, it is not easy. Projects, final papers, presentations, exams... Ugh. I want to crawl to a corner and cry but I will not let this get the best of me! :) It is almost over.

PS: I am so incredibly thankful for understanding and flexible professors. I just have to say that.

I have not been working a lot as of lately. Honestly, a lot of it is because I need to catch up on school work. It seems like I am taking one step forward and then two steps back with everything. However, when I am at work, it is a lot of fun. The toilet in the womens room is an ongoing joke as it constantly gets clogged (we have yet to find the perpetrator, no it is not me). I enjoyed watching my coworker Matt plunge it the other night (most hilarious thing I think I've ever seen).

Next semester I will be finishing up most of my Communication courses and starting on my Psychology courses for my Psych degree. I am incredibly excited about it. Honestly, because I have fallen in love with Psychology I have decided I should at least explore what the degree would have to offer. I think my last year of college will be making sure I at least get my feet wet in the field of Psychology to decide if I want to abandon advertising and go that route. My friends and family have always known how I am big into psychology, crime, drug addiction and all of that. I have received a lot of encouragement. I know I probably sound crazy because I am so all over the place. But honestly, it's hard when you have different interests. College is hard in general. My goal for my college experience is to not graduate with regrets. If I'm interested in something, I'm going to explore it.

Oh wait, I lied. One exciting thing has happened. We had the Board of Trustees event last Thursday. That was a lot of fun. :) Members of Student Ambassadors, Student Government, and Students Today Alumni Tomorrow attended (I'd like to give a shout out to them because I am in all three WOOT WOOT haha). I had the job of distributing name tags at the front table. The student ambassadors lined the hallway in Springwood Hall and gave everyone high fives. It was hilarious. Students were able to meet President McRobbie (President of Indiana University). It was a great event; I met a lot of very nice people. :)

Ohhh. I also recently went to The Skate with members from Media Club. It was a "Media Club out on the town" night. We thought The Skate (yes the one in Richmond) would be funny because we are all adults and haven't skated in forever. We figured our skills would come back to us. We were horribly wrong. I was doing awesome until I fell and about killed myself. I didn't think falling on skates could hurt that bad. I'm pretty sure I looked ridiculous. The seven-year-olds were showing me up... Sigh. They text while skating! That can't be safe.

Alright. It is bedtime. I have so much school work to do over the next two days. Wish me luck!
