Chi-town Bound

Today is the day! It’s the day I’ve been waiting for all year! At 3:30 this afternoon myself, Dr. Lundy, and Dion will be on our way to Chicago for the MPA Conference!! :) I’m soooo excited! We have done such a wonderful job with our research, and I can’t wait to show it off on Saturday. To clear up any confusion, we will be presenting a poster in a room that has about 70+ other posters as well. We will not be up on a stage talking about our research. We simply put up our poster and talk to people who come by and ask questions. We will be staying at the Palmer House (A Hilton Hotel) from tonight until Saturday. This hotel is where the conference is located and it’s GEORGIOUS! It’s everything a 4-5 star hotel should be! Here are some pictures from last years conference to give you an idea of what’s going on this weekend:

Ah, those pictures bring back memories! Of course, I will have tons of pictures and a video to share with you when I get back to Richmond. The only bad part about the trip is that the drive is about a 5 hour drive. So, I guess we have to have some stimulating conversation or have really good music on!

Anyway, enjoy your weekend and good luck on studying for your finals!

Until next time…

Cassie
