Free Choral Event

The annual Christmas Concert presented by the IUE Choral will be on December 3rd at 7pm at the Reid Presbyterian Church. The concert is free and open to the public.

Robert Ramsey, associate professor of criminal justice and director of the criminal justice program, will present “Judeo-Christian Foundations of U.S. Criminal Justice Policy: A Journey Through Israel Exploring Historical Connections Between Jewish Law and Criminal Justice Practices” at 4 p.m. on Thursday, November 29, in the Whitewater Hall room 132.

Death and Dying in America: Ancient Rites in Contemporary Society

Ange Cooksey, senior lecturer in humanities, will present “Death and Dying in America: An Examination of Ancient Rites in Contemporary Society” at 4 p.m. on October 17 in the Community Room. The presentation is free and open to the public.

Indiana University East Alumni, Jacquelynn Steele (B.A Humanities 2010), has an article published in the online magazine, LiveBetterMagazine.com. The article comes out of her experiences in Paraguay, which began with a Summer Research Scholar project in summer of 2009.
