I’m baaackk!!
Ohh my it has been some time since I've been on here... I can honestly say, I do NOT remember the month of April~
We had Easter, then I took a cruise to the BAHAMAS!! Where I sailed away into the Ocean with not a care in the world... Ok, well I did care, but not when I ate Ice Cream and Pizza for breakfast!
(I haven't had time to upload pictures from my trip yet, but those are yet to come)
The final two weeks of April were finalizing papers, homework, quizzes, tests, and exams to make sure everything was in tip top shape.
Then guess what. It's May! Graduation time!
Yep, I am now officially in my final semester of school at IUE. It's been a fun, and definitely fulfilling ride during my time with the school. Don't be too sad, I'll stick around for a while longer... why, you ask? Check this out!
There's me -> http://www.iue.edu/jasper/
So, hit me up on facebook or twitter ~ I'd love to chat with you!

No Comments****GOOD LUCK EVERYONE****

I just wanted to write a short post and encourage everyone to STUDY HARD and KICK @$$ on finals!! Summer 2013 is a week away
Today being Monday already feels like it is taking forever....which makes it seem like Wednesday will never be here!! Probably because the only thing standing between me and summer break is my final on Wednesday that I have no motivation to study for :/. I think I have pre-senioritis Lol
And on top of finals being this week, our track conference meet is this weekend at Berea College in Kentucky! I am excited to attend this meet and defend my two conference titles! I am also excited to watch and encourage my other teammates and try to capture a Team Conference Championship Title!
I think when school and track are completely over I am going to sleep for 3 days straight lol and then dive into summer 2013! Again I wish everyone the best of luck with finals, finish the semester strong! And make this summer the best you have ever had

Read MoreLet me tell you about my best frienddddd uhh
I have 6 very lovely best friends ----> Breezy Strete, April Acree, Amanda Dana, Cheryl Rutherford, Cari Dew , and last but not least Miss Lauren Crump who this very blog is about!
I am writing this blog about Lauren because it just happens to be her 21rst birthday today!!!!!!! <----I feel more excited for her birthday than I was for my own birthday lol.
But let me start off by thanking Lauren and Breezy for giving me the best birthday week EVER! I am normally not one for surprises but they got me good. When I got home from my track meet on Saturday both Lauren an Breezy planned a night in, so I joined them and then I went with Lauren to go get a movie, and when I got home and opened Breezys door there EVERYONE was! My face was most likely priceless lol and I honestly was speechless. And they had a poster in which all of my friends signed, I loved it! This is the first time I have ever really felt my age...Time sure does fly <3
That being said, Lauren is finally turning 21 and I cannot begin to tell you how amazing this girl is! Lauren is one of the most determined, hardworking, beautiful, loyal friends I have ever had the privilege of knowing and being roommates with. And needless to say she has is talented on the volleyball court and in the classroom! I just want to say you finally made it to 21, and I am so proud of you

I hope you have an absolutely AMAZING birthday, and an even better weekend. Mucho Loveeeeeee

The season got under way this past weekend, opening at Wabash College. The weather was perfect and we proved that all those months of hard work is definitely going to pay off. Four records were broken, and we had a lot of top three placements. You can check out the meet results and read the summary at --->http://www.iueredwolves.com/article/1603.php
In other news, can anyone else believe this weather we are having?! Last year at this time..i feel like there was still snow on the ground and it rained constantly! I am not complaining about the summer like weather but it sure does make it hard to go to class. I am beyond excited that we have a mere 6 weeks left of this semester and then I can finally call myself a SENIOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! <--I obviously can't wait lol

1 CommentTwo Weeks Two Weeks Two weeks……
Hey guys, man it has been the craziest two weeks! I have never done so much hw, exams and studying thus far in my college career. When I asked the upper class about the junior year of nursing they all warned us that this is the "worst semester", "everybody fails", and "you won't have a life". So needless to say before even starting the semester I was nervous....and believe me it is nothing short of the hard.
I also never thought I would get to the point where working, school, and doing track would become to much for me. But I am def. finding it hard to find time. I have worked hard this whole semester to prepare for this upcoming track season which starts in two weeks. The team has been working hard and I believe that we are prepared to have a good track season, we also got a new coach. Mr. Brett Crowley who is a well know individual around school. I feel like he will bring dedication and commitment out of everyone on the team and he wants everyone to do very well, so if he is putting the time in to help us, then I am going to strive to do the same.
In other news, it is almost spring break and I can't wait! Not only will we all receive a week off school, it is also my birthday the week after and we will be past the half way point in school! I am slowly but surely seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.

No CommentsLearn from your mistakes and make 2012 an Amazing year..♥ xoxo
Speechless, another year has come and gone, life still ceases to amaze me.
2011 was the hardest year of my life. I started in the nursing program and nothing has challenged me like that before. My mind has been put to the ultimate test, and I can admit I have made it a lot farther than I ever imagined. It shocks me to look back at high school and the start of college and see the changes I have made in myself. I never understood what people meant when they said "I found who I am". But I think 2011 was the year that I found exactly who I am. I have proven to myself that I can do anything that I put my mind too, I can see past mistakes and learn from my failures. I have come to the realization that there is more to just nursing than the paycheck, and I truly want to make a difference in the world now. I feel drawn to the Air force, and honestly feel that it is what I am suppose to do with my life. It feels good to find clarity in life, and to look around and see all of my family and friends and know they only want the best for me, as I want the same for them.
I know it is a little cliche to make resolutions now a day, because why do you need the first of the year to make a change! But I have a few things that I don't want to make excuses for anymore! My first resolution is too spend more time with my family. In the past year I have been so involved with school and work that I honestly didn't make an effort to spend time with my family. I missed a lot of events, a few people passed and it made me realize that anything could happen, no more time should be wasted and no more excuses should be given. I want to see my niece and nephew grow up, I want to be able to become closer with my brother and sister. I want to make my mother and father feel like they are appreciated because they have done so much for me. So yes, there are going to be days that I am tired and I have been busy with school and work but in the bigger picture family is important and we only get one. So with that being said Family First Forever.
That was my biggest resolution for the year of 2012. My second resolution is to no longer eat pizza. Lol so totally different direction than my first resolution but still important. Food is something that I have always been drawn too, for comfort, boredom, stress, and family issues. Food is everywhere. I have always made fitness one of my resolutions but this year feels different, and I have more ambition than ever. I no longer want to be trapped by lack of control with food. So I am vowing to take control of my diet once and for all and be on my way to a better, healthier me. By giving up pizza I know that it is something that I can control, I am not taking away everything that I like to eat but I am going to prove to myself that I can do this. I wouldn't be able to do this without support from my friends and family and I want to thank them for that. It is going to be a long but lasting journey and I cannot wait to work hard. The feeling that I am going to have when I conquer this resolution will be well deserved and amazing because this resolution is a battle within myself. I know I am going to want to give up..but hopefully I can look back at this and remind myself that; I CAN DO IT!!!!!!!!
I am refocused and ready for 2012. 2012 will be a year of many changes.
To everyone that has made resolutions, believe in yourself and make the changes. Be the first rate version of yourself and realize that life is too short to be unhappy.
