Halftime’s Over…Time to get ready for the 2nd Half
Jan 23, 2009 School Events, Sports

What’s good everyone?! Well, the break for everyone was hopefully a time to relax and charge your batteries. Now it’s time to get back to business. I’m ready to do my thing in the class room again. I ended the semester with a 3.0! Man I was so excited to see that. But as basketball has taught me, you can never be satisfied. I need to study more and work harder because I want to have an even higher GPA. I look forward to doin everything that needs to be done to get at least a 3.25 or higher this time around.
On the basketball side of things, we are now 15-6 with two games friday and saturday. The team looks to be making strides and the last couple days of practice have been very good. I think down the stretch of this season we will continue to get better and hopefully finish atop the conference. I’ll be looking forward to our rematch against IU Southeast.
I heard somewhere that IU East has a talent show. Is there some truth to that?? Will someone let me know? I might want to get into that if we have one. Might.
We just had a comedian at the school, too. It was Owen Smith. I recently hurt my foot in practice so I was on crutches and the first thing he said when he got on stage was, D@#$, what the h*** happened to you?! Yea, so he was pretty much on my head for like the first five minutes. But, that was fun though, I really enjoyed that event.
Until Next Time!
HOLLA!
