SPRING BREAK!!!!!

Man I haven’t been home in so long!  It feels wonderful to see the family and friends that I havent got a chance to see in months.

On another note I’ve been doing the rehab exercises given to me and my foot feels great.  I just wish i got my surgery earlier than I did because Dominique James had the same injury happen to him and he played last night!!!! His injury happened like a week after mine also.  But it is okay, good things come to those who wait.

Nothing special is really going on….I’m just relaxing at home….Ill get back to ya’ll when we return to classes.

Time is of the essence…

Well, as most of you know, the basketball season is over.  We missed the national tournament by one place and we were all kinda upset about it, but we knew we shoulda won a couple games so we can only be mad at ourselves.

On another note, I do not have to wear my boot anymore.  Hallelujah!  Man it feels good to not have pain anymore in my foot and be able to wear both of my shoes again!  The itch to play only gets worse now as i have to endure the rehab process and still tread lightly these last two weeks until im 100%.

Me and some of the guys joined the media club so we will be making a behind the scenes show of the red wolves from now in the offseason through next year as a show.  Next year looks to be very promising and it should be very fun to watch.

Thats all for the moment.   I’ll get at ya later

IU East vs Berea…

Well it’s the time we’ve been waiting for since we stepped off the bus!  Its game time and we have one obstacle in front of us at the moment: Berea College.  We played them twice before as I stated in the previous blog.  So we knew that this wasn’t going to be an easy game.

The game before us was IU southeast vs. Asbury College.  It was an exciting game, not as exciting as the game the night before.  That was a barn-burner (that’s for you Dustin!).  But Asbury was surprisingly ahead for a good portion of the game, which was kind of surprising.

Before I go any further, the most crazy thing about this trip is the mountains.  You’ll be driving one minute and the next thing you’ll know you’ll look over and see a 1000 foot drop to the town below.  It is crazy!

Our game against Berea was a good game for the most part, we started off really well and jumped out to a good lead.  At halftime we were up 17 points and we knew that Berea was going to make a run.  They brought it within 4 points, but we never let it get any closer than that as we pulled away to preserve the victory.

Me and my guy Steve Shepherd decided to dress-up this weekend for the games.  We were dressed to impress even though I still had to wear my boot!  It’s all good though. I caught a couple eyes out there in Pipa Passes! (haha!)

Tomorrow we play at 5 pm against Indiana Southeast.  I will make sure I have the camera once again to give some insider footage on how the game goes.  Check back for the next installment.
