Accounting Concentration - CPA

Earning the degree Bachelor of Science in Business Administration requires completion of 120 semester hours of credit comprised of IU East General Education, School of Business & Economics major requirements, and electives. A grade of C (2.0) or higher must be attained for all required Business courses.

General Education Requirements (30 cr)

Courses required for program:

  • Quantitative Reasoning: MATH-M 118 and ECON-E 270
  • Scientific Ways of Knowing: Choose one Natural Science Course with lab

Remaining General Education Requirements can be fulfilled as you and your advisor see fit.

First-Year Seminar (0-2 cr)

  • UCOL-U 101 First Year Seminar Students entering the program with less than 12 credit hours of transferable credit are required to complete the First Year Seminar

Lower Division Courses (6 cr)

Information Literacy (3 cr)

Business Administration Core (39 cr)

Concentration & Other Electives (up to 40 cr)

Whether they opt to follow a concentration track or not, all students must take enough electives to reach 120 credit hours total. These electives may also be used towards a certificate, a second major, or a minor.
