All students within the School of Business and Economics will meet with a School advisor (either by phone, email, or in person) each semester to plan their academic coursework and ensure successful completion of their program.
You can determine which advisor has been assigned to you by going to your Student Center in One.IU. If you don’t see an advisor assigned, use the following information:

Susan earned her Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Michigan – Flint. She earned her Master of Business Administration from Eastern Michigan University and her Master of Education in College Student Affairs Leadership from Grand Valley State University. Prior to coming to IU East, Susan worked as the Assistant Director of Fraternity and Sorority Life at The Pennsylvania State University and as an Accountant for Domino’s Pizza headquarters. During her spare time, Susan enjoys running, traveling and volunteering for Delta Phi Epsilon International Sorority and the National Panhellenic Conference.
Susan primarily advises students in the following programs:

- B.S. in Business Administration students with no concentration and last name beginning with M-Z
Diane Kenny holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Child and Family Services from Iowa State University and a Master of Arts degree in Higher Education Administration from the University of Missouri – Kansas City. Diane brings several years of academic advising experience from a variety of college institutions around the country.
Diane Primarily advises students in these programs:
- B.S. in Informatics
- Computer Information Systems
- B.S. in Business Administration students with no concentration and last name beginning with A-L
Darla Lane holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Bible and Counseling from Johnson University and a Master of Science in Management degree from Indiana Wesleyan University. Darla brings several years of leadership experience in the not-for-profit community. She currently serves as the chair of the Wayne County Foundation Board of Directors.
Darla primarily advises students in the following program:
- Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) degree
