Entrepreneurship

By definition, entrepreneurship is the capacity and willingness to develop, organize and manage a business venture. While the most obvious example of entrepreneurship is the starting of a new business, there is more to being an entrepreneur than just starting your own business. Companies are looking for employees with entrepreneurial skills to help grow their businesses by developing new products, business lines, and other opportunities. Entrepreneurs are skilled at creatively solving problems, analizing risks versus rewards, as well as working with and managing people. Successful entrepreneurs are passionate about what they do and willing to accept risks. At IU East our entrepreneurship concentration leverage courses in several disciplines to develop both the technical and creative skills necessary to become a successful entrepreneur.

The entrepreneurship programs at IU East can be completed either on campus or online.
