Indiana University East is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC). The United States Department of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation recognize the HLC as the assigned regional accrediting organization for institutions in the State of Indiana. Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs
The Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) is an independent organization which accredits specific business degrees and programs. Information regarding ACBSP can be found at www.acbsp.org
The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP).

The Master of Science in Management is currently not accredited by ACBSP. The School of Business and Economics will be seeking initial ACBSP accreditation for the Master of Science in Management program during the school’s reaffirmation of accreditation in fall of 2017.
The Bachelor of Applied Science degree is not accredited by ACBSP.
The Bachelor of Science in Informatics degree is not accredited by ACBSP.
