Positive Place Initiative

The purpose of the study is to better understand the attachment themes so that these themes can be used to preserve and strengthen the economic and social vitality of the Richmond/Wayne County community.  This study will include approximately 500 individuals like you who have an interest in preserving and strengthening the economic and social vitality of the Richmond/Wayne County community.  Each participant will complete a brief, anonymous on-line survey using Survey Gold. The survey should take you no more than 10 minutes to complete.  Results will be analyzed and key patterns and themes identified.  The risks associated with participation in this study are no more than the risk encountered in daily life.  For example, there is no risk of loss of confidentiality as the survey will be conducted using Survey Gold and will be anonymous.  There are no physical risks in this study.  The risk of completing the instrument includes possible psychological discomfort.  While this risk is minimal, you will have the option to stop completing the survey and/or the assessment at any time, and you may withdraw from the study at any time without penalty. The benefit to participation is that your experiences may make a contribution to further strengthening the long-term economic and social vitality of the community.  Your responses will be strictly confidential because you will complete the instrument anonymously using Survey Gold. There is no cost to you for participating in this study.
