Transition to Teaching

The Transition to Teaching (T2T) Program prepares individuals with degrees, Bachelor’s or more, outside of education, for Indiana teacher certification. T2T is an intensive program combining graduate courses and two semesters of internship, in the field of certification you have selected. The purpose of the program is to provide career changers with the knowledge and experience necessary to successfully enter the teaching profession as effective educators, and to provide schools and learners with competent, innovative, professional teachers. T2T programs are subject to change based on State, University or School of Education requirements.  Persons interested in T2T may contact Dr. James Barbre or Carla Bowen for further details regarding application.
