Personal Wellness HPER 119/219
This one or two credit hour course is designed for anyone interested in improving his or her personal physical health. Awareness is raised through fitness testing, blood work and education. Fitness Center membership is included with a minimum number of required points. Points are earned through health assessments and exercise sessions in the Graf Recreation Center and may be taken Pass/Fail or Audit only. [Course Listing]

The IU Employee Assistance Program (IUEAP) was established to provide professional help when day-to-day activities are interrupted by stress. IUEAP services are confidential and voluntary. Some common reasons to use IUEAP services include:
- Stress and anxiety
- Conflict in the workplace
- Drug and alcohol abuse
- Family and marital problems
- Grief and loss
IU East Student Assistance
While Indiana University East does not have a formal student assistance program, we are committed to assisting students with substance use issues. Students wishing to seek assistance for alcohol or drug related issues may contact Deanna Cooper (765-973-8216), wellness assistant in the Center for Health Promotion to schedule a counseling appointment or for information on resources and referrals to appropriate community agencies.
Area 9 Wellness Grant
This grant provides wellness services for area seniors. Available services include: BP screens, lipid profiles, glucose testing, health risk appraisals, seated exercise sessions, vision and hearing screens and lunch and learn educational programs on a variety of wellness and health related topics.
A licensed massage therapist provides discounts off campus.
Educational fairs can be provided on campus or in the community for all ages. Interactive learning stations, assessment booths, and giveaways are included. Cost is determined by number/ type of booths and participant count.
