Gathering of the Wolves
Schedule of Contest
- November 7th through the 11th: Wolves available to be picked up in the Human Resources office, Whitewater Hall room 124 (Duretta Callahan)
- Monday, November 14th
- 10 a.m.: Decorated wolves must be on display in designated area and secured to wall as minimally as possible (please don’t use tape that will damage the surface!)
- Noon: Judging of wolves will occur and winners will be immediately contacted via the contact information provided when silhouette was picked up.
- Week of November 14th through the 18th: Wolves should remain on display unless otherwise negotiated.
- Thursday, November 17th: Wolves will be removed from designated areas and taken Whitewater Hall.
- Friday, November 18th: Wolves will be on display in Whitewater Hall for the Faculty/Staff Thanksgiving Lunch.
*If you would like to keep your wolf please plan on picking it up in the Human Resources Office during the week of November 21st.
If your wolf is not collected by Monday, November 28th then it will be discarded.
Rules of the Contest
- All wolves should be decorated and in place by 10 a.m. on November 14th.
- Decorations of the wolf must be atmosphere friendly and not cause permanent damage to any object within their designated area (i.e. please do not display your wolf while the paint/glue is still wet.).
- If a contestant collects a wolf and then later determines that they do not wish to participate in the contest, they must return the silhouette to Duretta Callahan by November 11th.
- No wolf shall be decorated in a manner that is offensive or inappropriate to others. Wolves that are determined to be offensive or inappropriate will be disqualified from contest and removed from display.
- Judging will be based on five criteria: Red Wolves spirit, 70’s Theme, originality, craftsmanship, appearance, and overall design.
