Note to faculty and instructors
Any software you will need in a lab besides the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Publisher and Front Page) must be requested. This includes any CD located in the back of the book you’re asking students to purchase. Any software that you might need installed at anytime throughout a semester must be submitted on the Computer Lab Request Form to Angela Belcher one month prior to the start of the semester.
Even if the software you need is already in a lab, you must request it for each semester it’s needed. We often change the location of software based on class size and faculty needs. Please understand that this request process is also for any one-time sessions that might be held in a computer lab, seminars and includes Tutorial Services labs. If you need software installed in Tutorial Services or will be teaching a Continuing Studies class or offering a seminar on a specific piece of software in one of IU East’s computer labs, please request that software using the Computer Lab Request Form.
