IU East offers wireless access to its network to faculty, staff, and students. Wireless access is available in most areas of every building on campus, it is also available outside in the area between the buildings (the quad). To connect to the IU East wireless network, you must have an 802.11a/b/g/n compliant wireless Ethernet card installed in your mobile device. For information on connecting to the wireless network, see the Knowledge Base document, "What is IU Secure?", and select the appropriate operating system. You may also bring your mobile device to the IT Help Desk at Hayes Hall 169, a consultant will be happy to assist you.
IT is always looking for ways to improve networking on the campus. If you experience any weak connections, please drop us a line at the IT Help Desk .
