Indiana University East is pleased to welcome its newest faculty in the School of Nursing to further enhance the campus’ mission as a comprehensive bachelor’s and master’s degree institution. Two new faculty began at the start of the fall 2012 semester.

Gloria Dixon, lecturer of nursing, received her Master of Science in Nursing Administration from Indiana Wesleyan University. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and her Associate of Science in Nursing from IU East.

Indiana University East is pleased to welcome its newest faculty in the School of Natural Science and Mathematics. Two new faculty began at the start of the fall 2012 semester.

Yu Kay Law, assistant professor of chemistry, received his Doctorate in Biophysics from Ohio State University where he was also a Graduate Fellow. He earned his Master of Arts and Master of Science in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge in Cambridge, United Kingdom.

Indiana University East distributed scholarships to area high school guidance counselors from Indiana and Ohio during its annual Counselors’ Breakfast held November 8 in Whitewater Hall.

This is the sixth consecutive year that IU East has hosted the Counselors’ Breakfast. This year’s theme was the Academy Awards.

Indiana University East will host “Homecoming 2012: Red Wolves Rising” November 12-16. Alumni, friends and the campus community are invited to participate in the activities and events throughout the week.

Homecoming events are sponsored by the Alumni Association, Office of Campus Life, Student Activities Advisory Team, Student Government Association, and Students Today Alumni Tomorrow.
