IU East announces 2013 Lingle Scholars

Wednesday, September 25th

Olivia Robinson and Logan Ullery have been chosen as the 2013 Lingle Scholars. The scholarship award will continue throughout their pursuit of a four-year degree at Indiana University East.
Both graduated in June 2013 and are freshmen at IU East this fall. Robinson is a graduate of Hagerstown High School and Ullery is a graduate of Northeastern High School.

Tickets available for diversity event on politics, racism featuring author Robert Jensen

Professor of Journalism and author Robert Jensen will speak at Indiana University East on “Power and Politics in the Age of Obama: Is the United States Post-Racial?” at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, October 16, in Vivian Auditorium, located in Whitewater Hall. IU East welcomes high school students to explore campus for College GO! Week

Indiana University East will celebrate College GO! Week September 23-27. The event offers high school students the opportunity to explore IU East and its academic programs.

The Indiana Commission for Higher Education established College GO! Week to encourage high school students to pursue a college education. IU East will highlight scholarships, campus spirit and traditions, opportunities for campus life, athletics and much more.

IU East’s “One Book, Many Voices” project speakers to discuss international water issues, making a difference

As part of Indiana University East’s second annual “One Book, Many Voices” project, two speakers will visit campus to discuss water abroad and making a difference in the world through water. The lectures are free and open to the public.

Indiana University East is accepting art entries September 23-27 for the 2013 Whitewater Valley Annual Art Competition (WVAAC).
