IU East Center for Leadership Development to host management series

February 22, 2012 |

The IU East Center for Leadership Development is hosting a management series with the first module session on managing conflict scheduled for Tuesday, February 28. The session is from 1-4 p.m. in the Community Room, located in Whitewater Hall.

The management series includes four modules on managing conflict, meetings, performance and teams.

During the first module session on managing conflict, participants will learn effective, strategic methods for managing the conflicts that can be encountered in managerial and leadership positions. This course emphasizes self-awareness and self-management, proactive approaches, and building partnerships and long-term positive relationships.

Participants will leave this session with best practices, tactics, and goals that can be immediately applied when conflict situations arise in their daily work lives. The management series is centered on best management practices for bottom-line results. Each three-hour course in this series focuses on key concepts, theories, models, tools, and their applications for effective workplace management.

The cost is $75 per person per module, $50 per person per module for groups of three or more. If participants register and pay for all four it is only $50 each. Check the website for special pricing for Richmond-Wayne County Chamber of Commerce members.
