Indiana University Business Outlook 2008

Area business leaders and guests are invited to attend the annual Indiana University Business Outlook Forum presented by Indiana University East, the Eastern Indiana Chapter of the IU Alumni Association and the IU Kelley School of Business Alumni Association in early November.

The 2008 Business Outlook Forum will be held on Monday, November 5 at Forest Hills Country Club, 2169 S. 23rd St., in Richmond. The forum begins with lunch at 11:30 a.m. and discussion lead by the panel will follow at noon. The forum ends at 1 p.m.

The panelists will focus their conversation on topics relevant to the business and government sectors in 2008. Panelists include Jerry Conover, director of the Indiana Business Research Center Indiana University Kelley School of Business, Jim Dinkle, president and CEO of the Economic Development Corporation of Wayne County, James Smith, senior lecturer in finance at Indiana University Kelley School of Business and Bill Witte, associate professor of Economics and co-director of the Center for Econometric Model Research for Indiana University. David Frantz, Business and Economics Division chair at IU East, will be the moderator.

Each is an economic expert that will provide a futuristic outlook for the economy including international trends and on issues relative to Indiana and East Central Indiana.
