IU East Center for Leadership Development to host a Management Sampler Series workshop on Recognition and Appreciation

The IU East Center for Leadership Development is hosting a Management Sampler Series workshop on Recognition and Appreciation from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, September 17. The workshop will be held in the Community Room, located in Whitewater Hall.

Each one and half hour session in this series focuses on a specific management tool. Participants will leave with new tools and skills.

This session will focus on the difference between recognition and appreciation and kindle ideas for practical ways of introducing appreciation in the workplace.DarlaLane

Registration is required and is available online at iue.edu/leadership. There is no charge for the Management Sampler Series sessions; they are being underwritten by the School of Business and Economics.

All Management Sampler Series sessions include a box lunch and will be held in the Community Room in Whitewater Hall.

The workshop will be presented by Darla Lane, assistant to the Dean and the Graduate Admissions coordinator for the IU East School of Business and Economics. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Johnson University and a Master of Science in Management degree from Indiana Wesleyan University.

Lane brings several years of leadership experience in the not-for-profit community. She currently serves as vice chair of the board at the Wayne County Foundation.
