Indiana University East and the ATP have signed an educational agreement for players to complete online degree programs. The agreement was signed June 4.

The agreement is similar in some respects to the IU East and Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) agreement, now in its second year.

“We are very excited to join in this partnership and we look forward to working with ATP to provide prestigious IU online degree completion programs,” said IU East Chancellor Kathryn Cruz-Uribe.

Vice President Player Relations Ross Hutchins said, “Providing opportunities to our players to help prepare them for a career after tennis is very important to us at the ATP. This agreement with Indiana University East will help us to do that and we look forward to a successful partnership.”

IU East online degree programs offer the high quality of an Indiana University degree to students throughout Indiana, nationally and internationally. IU East offers 10 options for students to complete their bachelor’s degree online in English with an emphasis in Technical and Professional Writing, Mathematics, Natural Science and Mathematics with a Mathematics Concentration, Communication Studies, Business Administration, Criminal Justice, Political Science, Psychology, General Studies, and an RN to BSN Mobility Option. IU East also offers a Graduate Certificate in Composition Studies and a Graduate Certificate in Mathematics.

The ATP is the governing body of the men’s professional tennis circuits – the ATP World Tour, the ATP Challenger Tour and the ATP Champions Tour.
