The IU East Center for Leadership Development’s next Management Series workshop is from 1-4 p.m. on Tuesday, December 4, in the Whitewater Hall Community Room.
The cost of the management workshop is $75. Visit iue.edu/leadership to register and to learn about discounts for multiple participants from the same organization, discounts for Wayne County Area Chamber of Commerce members and certificate options.

The IU East Center for Leadership Development will host a Career Advantage Series from 5-6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 27, in the Whitewater Hall Community Room.

The Indiana University East School of Education and the Student Education Association are sponsoring a Professional Clothing for Success Store (PCS) for all IU East students. Anyone who would like to share gently used professional clothing and accessories may drop the items off in the Springwood Hall Campus Life Conference Room, located in office suite 107. The drop-off dates and times are Thursday, September 10, between 7:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. or Friday, September 11, between 7:30 a.m. and noon.

Indiana University East is initiating a five-year plan to establish greater opportunities for collaboration with area businesses and organizations through the Business Development Opportunities Program. The initiative has been made possible by a $140,000 grant from Lilly Endowment , Inc., which is being matched by IU East.

Indiana University East will initiate a new four-year degree program in the fall 2009 to provide students the
necessary knowledge and skills for careers in information technology. The Bachelor of Science in Informatics degree program will provide students with technical and analytical skills that can be applied in a variety of industries, organizations and professions throughout the state of Indiana and beyond.
