The Indiana University East Campus Library is hosting two events open to the public this April. The annual Edible Book Festival, a food competition, and Murder in the Stacks, a murder mystery, is open to the public for participation.

Indiana University East now has a Red Wolf on the prowl.
The university debuted its new mascot during the IU East/Holiday Inn Richmond Homecoming Classic basketball tournament on November 8.
And now the university is asking for the campus and the community to name the Red Wolves mascot. Nominations will be accepted online at www.iue.edu/mascot until Monday, December 1. The winning name will be announced during the home basketball game on Saturday, December 6.
BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — Indiana University is asking students from all eight IU campuses to share their university spirit with the world through a student video contest on the popular video sharing Web site YouTube.
The contest, now in its second year, is part of the university’s “Celebrate IU” festivities, a month of special events beginning Oct. 1 that this year will include IU President Michael McRobbie’s first State of the University address, world-class performances, art exhibits and building dedications.
Indiana University East is announcing its first writing contest for high school seniors. The contest is sponsored by the Division of Humanities and Fine Arts and the Office of Academic Affairs.
The community is invited to attend the annual Indiana University East Fall Family Festival from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, October 26 in Whitewater Hall lobby.
Families can enjoy an evening with games, face painting, children’s costume contest, and candy. Joe’s Pizza will be open in the Campus Café to purchase pizza and drinks.
