IU East to offer Graduate Certificate in Mathematics online

Indiana University East has received final approval for a new online Graduate Certificate in Mathematics program from the Indiana Commission for Higher Education. The certificate program will begin fall 2014.

“The Graduate Certificate is an exciting new program for Indiana University East,” said Markus Pomper, chair of the Department of Mathematics. “It allows students who have a graduate degree in education or some other discipline to earn sufficient graduate credits in mathematics to meet the qualifications for teaching at the community college level.”

IU East, IU Kokomo to offer Indiana’s first Bachelor of Applied Science degree

Friday, February 17th

The Indiana University Board of Trustees today, Feb. 17, approved the “first of its kind for Indiana” Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.S.) degree program for IU East and IU Kokomo. This will allow thousands of Hoosiers with an Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) to pursue a four-year degree without losing hard-earned credits.
