The Indiana University East Center for Leadership Development will receive a grant from the Indiana University Women’s Philanthropy Council to establish a new Academy for Cultivating Talent. The IU Women’s Philanthropy Council announced the award recipients on March 6.

IU East receives ADDY, AEAA Awards
Indiana University East received several awards from the 27th Annual Educational Advertising Awards, sponsored by the Higher Education Marketing Report, including a gold, bronze, and four merit awards. The national competition recognizes the fields of admissions marketing and advertising.

IU East hosts discussion on service-learning contributes to academic success
Several Indiana University East faculty, staff and students participated in the Indiana University Partnerships and Reciprocity Conference on service-learning initiatives. The conference was held at IUPUI November 14 and had live participants at all eight Indiana University campuses.
As Indiana University East continues its trend of record-breaking enrollments and strategic growth of academic programs, the campus is addressing its need for additional instructors with the hire of 12 new faculty members. The additional faculty will further enhance the campus’ mission as a comprehensive bachelor’s and master’s degree institution.
