The Indiana University East School of Business and Economics’ Center for Leadership Development will host its Spring Leadership Forum beginning at 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 23, in the Whitewater Hall Community Room. The invited speaker is Justice Loretta H. Rush and she will present “Ethics in Leadership.”

Indiana University East will host an interactive breakfast forum for business and community leaders on public higher education on Thursday, March 7, in the Whitewater Hall Community Room.

Interim Chancellor Larry Richards will present “The State of Public Higher Education and its Implications for IU East.”  Richards, whose academic background is in engineering, business management and operations research, has been Interim Chancellor since June 2012.  Prior to that, he served as Executive Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs and Professor of Management and Informatics at IU East since 2004.

Indiana University East is establishing a Center for Leadership Development sponsored by the School of Business and Economics. The center is a campus and community resource focused on creating and offering leadership development initiatives to enhance the managerial and leadership capacities of the region.

The Indiana University East Alumni Association and the Whitewater Valley Chapter of the IU Alumni Association will co-host a Friday legislative forum once a month now through April, allowing the community an in-person discussion with state legislators who represent Wayne County.
