The Indiana University East Annual High School Speech Tournament will be held on Saturday, December 1, 2012, in Whitewater Hall. Registration is from 7:15-8 a.m. and the tournament will end by 3:30 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.

In response to changes in the Richmond High School dress code, IU East staff will give away logo t-shirts to Richmond High School students at Red Wolves volleyball matches on Saturday, September 26, and Monday, September 28.

Join Indiana University East for a night at the Wayne County 4-H Fair from 5 p.m. to close Thursday, June 25 for “KnowHow2Go to College Day.”
IU East will be at the “Kids to College” tent with Indiana’s College Success Coalition, a group working to rally and connect individuals and organizations willing to help more students get to and complete college.

Indiana University East distributed $5.04 million in scholarships today to area high school guidance counselors from Indiana and Ohio during its annual Counselors’ Breakfast held Thursday, November 13.
“We are once again collaborating with high school counselors to increase the level of attainment in the communities we serve together,” said Interim Chancellor Nasser Paydar. “By providing counselors with this tool, we are investing in the future of individual students and our region.”

Indiana University East distributed $2.6 million in scholarships today to area high school guidance counselors from Indiana and Ohio during its annual Counselors’ Breakfast held Wednesday, November 7.

Indiana University East is announcing its first writing contest for high school seniors. The contest is sponsored by the Division of Humanities and Fine Arts and the Office of Academic Affairs.

Credit hours taught for the fall 2007 semester at Indiana University East have increased 3.9 percent compared to the same period last year, according to unofficial enrollment figures. The number of students enrolled also increased by a full percentage point.
